Although the 2004 Nissan 350Z Convertible is a beautiful car in general and enjoyable to drive - especially with the top open - it is also known for its problems with the convertible top: the top doesn't open all the way; the top works sometimes, sometimes not; you can hear sounds, but the soft-top doesn't close or open anymore. Replacing the complete wiring and mechanical parts involved for the soft-top operation can be a costly exercice.
